Delete your data

In effect from 27 October 2026

Vaumu has no accounts. Our server holds only the interactive phones you publish yourself.

Delete a published interactive phone

In the Vaumu app: tap the phone icon at the top left, tap ⋯ next to the link, then Delete link. The screen pictures, the characters' names and photos, gallery photos and their captions, the wallpaper, the settings and its access codes are deleted from vaumu.app at once.

Without the app

If you lost your phone or already deleted the app, write to [email protected] with the page's link and the words "Delete this page". We delete it within 3 days and reply when it is done.

Delete stories on your phone

Stories, characters, photos and recordings exist only on your phone. Delete a story in the app, or delete the app, and all of it goes with it.

What is kept, and for how long

A deleted link's name stays reserved, with nothing in it, so an old link never opens someone else's phone. Reader reports, which hold a page's name and the reason, are deleted after 90 days. The daily count of new pages, kept as a random hash, is deleted after 2 days. Vaumu Pro purchases are recorded by Google Play and Apple under their own rules. Your Google, iCloud or computer backups are managed by them and you.
